Support Group Starts in May of 2026!
Parents of Children with Trauma Community

Feeling isolated in your parenting journey?
Looking for others who truly understand what it’s like to parent children who have experienced trauma?
Need a safe space where you can be honest about both the joys and challenges?
You don’t have to be struggling to participate or be involved too! You may be able to help other parents with your knowledge.
Our Parent Support Community connects you with other foster, kinship, and adoptive parents who get it. Share experiences, exchange practical strategies, and build relationships with people who understand your reality. Leave each session feeling validated, equipped, and knowing you’re not alone on this journey.
All groups include free childcare, snacks, training hours for certification, and a welcoming environment where no question is too small and no challenge is too big to discuss. Virtual link is available if you cannot be in person! Sign up to get the link.
Bio families are welcome too!

Handouts/Trainings
Have you missed one of our trainings or want to get one of the handouts in digital form?
Click on the link below and it will take you to our training materials page and you can download or print at your convenience.
All training material is offered free of charge and you do not need to be a part of the group to get. At The Light House, we believe that education helps families and children in foster care and we know how challenging it is to be present at all meetings. Things come up and we understand. Please feel free to share this information with whomever would benefit as well.
We can’t wait to meet you at our next meeting and please feel free to reach out to us if you have a topic for our next training. Email us at info@thelighthousedenver.org.
